Dry River Yacht Club

Dry River Yacht Club is a decidedly unique band whose combined talents create something of a Gypsy-Folk Orchestral-Pirate Hoedown. Based out of Tempe, Arizona, they are known throughout the southwest for their eccentric live show consisting of bass clarinet, French horn, violin, and accordion bouncing and swaying across the stage. They have been compared to such bands as DeVotchKa and Gogol Bordello, however they are really a force of their own with lead singer, Garnet's, beautifully haunting voice and convincingly possessed stage antics. In August 2010, Dry River Yacht Club came into the studio to record their newest EP. They are ridiculously talented musicians, to say the least. Look for their upcoming release in the spring!
